Trevor Mohler - About Me
I've been working on construction sites since I was 8 years old. Whether it was our family humanitarian trips to Mexico to build homes for the less fortunate, helping my Dad with the various fixes to rental properties, or the humanitarian trip I took to Kenya to build a school, I have always had a knack for improving the way things were built, put together, or made.
My First Construction Job
I worked at Hadco Construction here in Utah for a year where I learned to work most heavy machinery and large scale plumbing. I quickly rose to the position of pipelayer where I installed the pipes under the street that carries the water to the whole neighborhood.

Vocational Training
While working at Hadco I joined the National Guard as a Carpentry and Masonry Specialist. I attended 12 weeks of rigorous training on the processes of building homes. We dove into deep subjects like the math of concrete and the geometry of framing. I was able to learn more about concrete, brick and mortar, framing, roofing, siding, and a small bit of glass work.

Framing
After vocational training, I began working as a framer to hone my skills as a carpenter. I worked for a smaller Construction company for 3 months, framing home additions, commercial buildings, and siding. I was able to explore the more personal aspects of a residential contractor's work.
3 months
Cabinetry
I began working at a cabinet company selling high quality ready to assembly cabinets. It wasnt long before I was the top salesman and going to my client's houses to fix mistakes made by our in-house installers. This is when I realized I could start my own business.
1 year
Mohler Construction
Starting with smaller handyman jobs, such as hanging pictures and mirrors, I knew I had found a career that I loved and was good at. With my Contractor's License, I started working on larger projects; custom deck railings, backsplashes, butcher block countertops, and flood remediation. . Since then I've done full basement renovations, home renovations, multiple kitchen and bathroom remodels.
